So when he tries to make himself look menacing and threatening, it has the same effect as a little kid dressing up in a Halloween costume trying to make himself look scary. This episode just had more of that on display. From the season finale, Secret of the Sundrop, comes two additional songs. Then decides to keep the risk of the rocks hidden from everyone and act like nothing's wrong. Kid obviously has issues in that department. I liked the breaking Raps out of the tower scene.
August 26, 2018 The Brothers Hook is a unknown season 2 episode References. The black rocks seemed to be a convenient excuse to grow back Rapunzel's magical blonde hair. Eugene tries to help Rapunzel and Cassandra mend their friendship and handcuffs them together. I'd still love to see a team up between them that ends with one or both redeeming the other. Rapunzel enters the chamber with Eugene and Cassandra and the rocks create a path for her. Hook Foot finally fulfills his childhood dream of dancing by humiliating King Trevor in a dance-off, which he wins as the female seal is the judge.
The season finale boasts two fantastic new songs, one of which I would love to see become the new theme song, as the current one could use some improvement. Think about it, Rapunzel was the one who charged him with helping her to figure out the secret of the black rocks what was more, she stressed that he should keep it secret—even from his own father. For as much of a role that Rapunzel had in the accomplishing of the task, they might as well have sent Shorty! While it may well be argued that time proved that her coming to his aid would have been futile, at the moment there was no way of knowing that. I had already discovered the first tie-in novel, , when it was released thanks to an aggressive advertising campaign on Facebook. He was lonely and misunderstood but also very talented and could have accomplished great things with just a little more support. Her irrepressible spirit and natural curiosity about the world drives her to the realization that there is so much more she needs to learn before she can truly accept her royal destiny. And halfway destroys his village apparently not for the first time in his quest to be everyone's saviour.
I would love to see him come bathe in the second season and turn good again, but that seems unlikely to happen at this point. Making a truth-telling serum and automaton is one thing because he reverse-engineered all that from other things we've seen in the series up until now, but how did he manage to create something like this? Through their quick thinking, Rapunzel manages to save everyone and trap their doubles. He was left with nothing, and in the end, not even his freedom. Her lying to her friend and then ignoring him while she sulks? What exactly is the connection between Rapunzel's hair and those rocks? For comparison's sake, that's actually shorter than the runtime of the new Avengers: Endgame movie. It's hard for me to talk about it without spoilers, so I suggest that you before reading this if you haven't seen it yet. You could have used it to wish for more magical fish. They encounter the unpredictable Hector and discover the moonstone magic formula. I am pleased to announce that one of my previous stories, was recited recently on a podcast called! I wish his transformation into the villain of the show was a bit more gradual but I agree. After parting ways, Rapunzel and the group learn the third scroll piece contains an image of a unknown hooded figure. It is written in first person and switches between the perspectives of Rapunzel and Cassandra. One thing this franchise is quite good at I mean, for a children's show is villains with sympathetic sides and good guys with dark sides. To make matters worse, as he goes off to the clink, what does the one person who holds the key in some way, shape, or form to rescuing his father do? Sounds like a convenient excuse for a second season story arc, but, eh, I'll accept it.
Laughing Place is a dedicated group of Disney fans, like yourself, who love Disney. Her friend was in an obvious crises and she promised to go to him right after, but didn't. Cassandra, naturally, does not trust Strongbow. Then again, I'm sure this is what the writers wanted everyone to feel. And while not being effective, it may well have alleviated any megalomaniacal tendencies that would later crop up on his part. Especially the way Rapunzel and her family did their group hug right in front of Varian - who is all alone. Impossible to break and difficult to hide, Rapunzel must learn to embrace her hair and all that it represents.
The songs especially were great, and they not only prove that Alan Menken can still make good music, even for lesser projects, but that many of the actors can really sing. Due to the show's , I was hoping the season wouldn't end on a cliffhanger, but it did. Varian is a teenager, and an adorkable one at that. Varian, while he was ignoring the warnings of his father, also did so because he felt that no one was doing anything. Also, that mysterious gray haired lady at the end? But reading her private journal? Also the way he countered Rapunzel's infiltration plan. And if so, did no one take the time to offer Varian any help? I also wonder if Varian even recognized the storm as an issue though.
Sure, he went too far in some respects trying to save his father, but it's not like he had any friends with him who were willing to help him or even just there to talk him out of bad ideas. It did a fantastic job of bridging the gap between the original film and the series. And what does that say about the king? They are immediately attacked by a man with a bear mask, who separates himself and Eugene from Rapunzel. Just as Eugene is about to be struck down, Edmund himself gives in and allows Rapunzel passage to take the Moonstone. Do not rehost without the author's permission.
In fact, he has less than nothing. Gothel as an incredibly-abusive parent figure who is nonetheless sometimes affectionate with Rapunzel and even occasionally seems to care for her willing to make a three-day-long trip for her on a moment's notice. Varian could have become great friends with Rapunzel, and Cassandra if things had only turned out a little differently. Some of the topics were easier to come up with than others. I agree with your analysis, Varian definitely isn't doing the right thing and isn't an angel here, but neither are the other characters.
You ate a magical fish? So I can only hope they manage to give him a proper redemption. I would've bet money this was the whole point to season 1 and especially the season 1 finale, but it wasn't. Executive producer has been diligently reaching out to fans to spread more visibility for the show. Mermaids have the ability to transport us to another world where everything is calm, serene, and the impossible becomes possible. What does he do the very first time we meet him? Edit: I forgot this point. As long as Varian gets his redemption and becomes a very valuable ally and the audience gets plenty of answers and reasoning to this stuff, the writers will more than make up for that.
