Meanwhile, Daru and Maho continue to develop the Time Leap Machine with little success when Rintaro arrives and discovers it. Meanwhile, Suzuha explains to Daru that she is looking for Kagari Shiina, Mayuri's future adopted daughter who time-travelled with her from the year 2036 but became separated from her in 1998. Rintaro asks Maho if she possesses any of Kurisu's research, but she lies and keeps secret from him the fact she has Kurisu's personal laptop. Just as Leskinen attempts to take the time machine for himself, Kagari uses the last of her strength to give Suzuha a chance to save everyone and knock Leskinen out. This ultimately leads to the time machine getting destroyed again, prompting Rintaro to once again keep time leaping until he can save Mayuri and Suzuha.
The past Mayuri slaps Rintaro to knock him back to his senses, and then receives a D-mail from Rintaro. Just after erasing the data, Kurisu returns to the lab to tell him that she loves him, but is cut off as Rintaro shifts back to the Beta World Line. While Daru is tasked with fixing Suzuha's time machine, Mayuri suggests that everyone also help Suzuha find her father, using a pin badge he gave her as a clue. As Rintaro, still traumatized over his experiences with changing world lines, continues to refuse to help Suzuha, he attends a seminar held by Professor Alexis Leskinen and his assistant Maho Hiyajo. It being brought up every time Funimation is talked about is just stupid at this point. After visiting the card tournament Faris had entered, Rintaro spots someone that looks like Suzuha and chases after her, having a conversation in which she mentions that a fortune teller had foretold her having a child in seven years. Too afraid to tell Kurisu the reason behind his change of plans, Rintaro accompanies Mayuri to a comic market, trying to think of a way he can save her without sacrificing Kurisu. Meeting with Maho and Alexis after the presentation, Okabe learns that the two were Kurisu's colleagues in university, and that they have simulated her in Amadeus. But for interest's sake, allow me to dissect exactly why I think the comment I posted has absolutely no merit in its criticism, and not just because it's biased.
